December 14 Christmas Luncheon
Braselton-Stover House
Frances Bowen has made a reservation for us again at the beautiful Braselton-Stover House in Braselton at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 14. Please note that it will be the second Tuesday in December since the third will be so close to Christmas. Frances reports that the total amount for the meal (including tax, drink, and tip) will be $16.50. The Chef will have a choice of two menu items from which to select.

Once again we shall be exchanging gifts. Please limit cost to a maximum of $10. Please call Frances by Sunday, December 12, if you will be attending. --  770-938-2399. Read more on our web site. . .

Directions: It is located at 5257 Highway #53 in historic downtown Braselton 1/2 mile off 1-85 (Exit # 129), just 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta, 15 minutes north of the Mall of Georgia and 3 miles north of Georgia's premier winery. Chateau Elan. View their web site for more information.

A sheet will be passed around at this luncheon for signing up for hosting 2005 luncheons. Be thinking about which month and which restaurant would best
suit you.

4Jean Kammerer reports that she and a friend will be taking a Grand Circle Tour to South America. Shortly after the first of the year we will go to Santiago Chile, Bariloche, Argentina and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She will tell us all about it when she return. 

 4SICK OF THOSE HIGH PAID TEACHERS - forwarded by Bettye Chambers

I, for one, am sick and tired of those high paid teachers. Their hefty salaries are driving up taxes, and they only work nine or ten months a year. It's time we put things in perspective and pay them for what they! We can get that for less than minimum wage.

4Christmas Greetings from Kay Fulmer
This takes a few minutes to download so be hang in there. I know you've all seen the electronic greeting cards that are interactive (you can decorate the tree, etc.), but this is one of the most beautiful ones I've seen because of the beautiful music provided by the Ashland University choir.   In this one you go inside the chapel, then you go outside again to hear the choir.  -- Kay
